“Gašo Knežević” essay prizes awarded to three Belgrade students

The University of Belgrade Faculty of Law and Serbian Arbitration Association have jointly, for the fifth time, organized an essay prize contest in honor of late Professor Gašo Knežević. After evaluating the submitted essays, the jury decided to award the first prize to Stefan Jovanovic, for a paper on a topic dealing with arbitral resolution of disputes stemming from M&A transactions,  the second prize to David Vucinic, for a paper dealing with confidentiality of arbitration proceedings, and third prize to Luka Kokic, for a paper dealing with extension of arbitration agreement to non-signatories under the group of companies doctrine. All recipients are students of the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law.

Award ceremony took place on 27 September 2019 in the Amphitheatre V of the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law,  on the occasion of the celebration of the Faculty Day. The awards were presented to the winners by Prof. Dr. Zoran Mirkovic, Dean of the Faculty, Ass. Prof. Dr Milena Djordjevic, member of the Board of Association, and by Ms. Iva Ruskuc, daughter of late Prof. Knežević.
